I want to make good food but I’m lazy and also there is no food what 2 do?
reading the notes on last year’s art exam is the funniest thing I’ve ever done

Wow i mean after she ranted to me about the person with the tumor i felt really bad but i didn’t know what to do so i put the chocolate pudding back.
wow i went to go get a chocolate pudding out of the fridge because there is no other food and when i told my mum that i didn’t have dinner because my dad burnt it and also what he made was what i had for dinner last night because there is so little food in the house for us to choose from she started ranting at me about how a colleague had just gotten out of surgery after getting a brain tumor removed and that should put things in perspective for me. I’m just saying she’s not fed her children in a week and she still expects to be called a ‘good parent’.
a digital sketch of a self portrait I’m going to paint (because I’m oh so narcissistic) I nearly stapled my thumb in the process of sticking it together
I will defend homebase until the day i die.
I want to start a painting soon do you have to do all that other ‘research’ crap you do in art class is that what they want in a folio??

A girl I am doing work experience with pretty much straight up was like don’t bother, it’s far too prescribed she said and they were just fairly dull apprently and her lecturer disappeared? um haha. The building is just….awful ha Hey you never know! You will probably get them in the end :) If it helps I have no chance of getting an unconditional either, for sure haha. ( If I even get an offer! )
I’ve been to a few open days there and i’m doing short courses there as well, so if i was to go I wouldn’t feel all adventurous because It’s too close to home. I really do have my fingers crossed for ECA because it’s my only hope really but it sounds suuuuper competitive. so it all depends. I’m sure you’ll be okay, you can always do what I’m going to do as back up, which is do a foundation year (which overrides your highers and advanced highers etc) and apply straight into second year.

yeah ECA looks best anyway…Glasgow looks okay in my opinion. I’ve been put off Grays haha but what ya gonna do ha. Yeah it’s getting the grades which is mental hard work. Exactly that’s what I’m thinking, fashion has heaps of different aspects :)
I don’t know, I’ve seen some people that go to grays and some of the work produces and It put me off a wee bit, I had a weeks work experience at the design and print lab next door also the building is horrible and it would drive me mad.
If i don’t get b’s in english, chemistry or graphic then I’ve got next year but it would mean there would be no chance for me to get an unconditional, but there is still a possibility.
katalicious replied to your post: I think I might apply to study fashion but i hate…
Fashion looks really good, it’s what I want to study anyway. Just forget about the stigma it’s nowhere near as important as the qulification you’ll get
I’m applying for both painting and fashion at edinburgh (I’ll apply for glasgow but there is no way I’ll get in because my grade this year will be AWFUL) but it seems kind of sensible because there is actually a business in fashion and when you tell people you’re an artist then they loose all sympathy for you if you fail.
